Billing
Plans, seats, Org AI Credits, invoices, cancelling, and what each model costs.
Your plan sets who can join the workspace. Org AI Credits pay for AI usage. Only admins see Settings → Billing.
Starter and Pro
| Starter | Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free | $65 per seat, per month |
| Members | Up to 50 | Up to 100 |
| AI credits | $10 once, expires after 365 days | Buy top-ups as needed |
Both plans include the full product. Starter's trial runs 30 days from the workspace's first use, and the Billing page shows the days left.
When the trial ends, the message box reads "Free trial ended — upgrade to continue". AI chat stops until an admin upgrades, even with credit left. Agents and documents stay.
Pro bills monthly per accepted member, in US dollars, by card through Stripe. Invitations are free until accepted, but pending ones count toward the member limit. Agent Hero staff and your reseller's team never take a seat. An agreed rate shows on the Subscription card as "Monthly, $…/seat".
For more than 100 members, custom billing or enterprise terms, talk to Agent Hero.
Upgrade to Pro
- 1
Open Settings → Billing
Check the seat price, monthly total and accepted members on the Subscription card. Everyone moves to Pro together.
- 2
Add credits now, or later
Optionally add a pack from Org AI Credits to the same checkout, or leave it on None.
- 3
Accept the terms and pay
Tick the box to accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for your organisation. Click Pay $… today and pay on Stripe.
The member limit lifts once the payment goes through.
Seats
Invite people under Members, whose header shows seats in use.
A new member fills a seat already paid for this period, if one is free. Otherwise the seat is charged now, for the rest of the period only. Removing someone lowers the next renewal, with no refund for this period.
Org AI Credits
AI usage is prepaid. Every turn's cost comes out of one shared workspace balance, Org AI Credits. There's no metered invoice at month end.
Turns draw from the shared balance, first come, first served. Admins can cap a person with member spend limits.
A turn debits exactly what it cost. The reply's ⋯ menu shows that Cost, rounded to the cent. If a turn's final usage arrives late, its cost is updated afterwards.
Top up
- 1
Open Org AI Credits
An admin on Pro opens Settings → Billing and finds the Org AI Credits card.
- 2
Pick a pack
Choose $20, $50, $100, $150, $200 or $500. The card shows the balance before and after.
- 3
Pay
Click Pay now and pay on Stripe. The balance updates when the payment goes through.
Starter workspaces can't buy packs on their own. An admin can add one to the upgrade to Pro, in the same checkout.
With a reseller, each pack shows the reseller's price, an arrow, and the credit you get. You pay the price, and the balance receives the credit.
Credit expires after a year
Each top-up, and the free $10, expires 365 days after it was added. Each keeps its own date, so a new top-up never extends older credit. Turns spend the credit nearest expiry first. Expired credit is gone, with no refund.
The info note on the Credits figure shows when your newest credit expires. Older credit can lapse sooner.
Running low
The Org AI Credits card shows a Low badge under $5 and a Top up badge at $0.
Members see their remaining spend in the composer's $… left chip, which admins can click to open Billing. Guests don't see it. Top up when about a month's runway remains.
A credit dollar buys a dollar of usage at the per-token prices below. Routine turns cost a few cents, heavy multi-document runs more. Your AI usage page shows your last 30 days of spend. Divide by 30 for a daily average and multiply by your team to plan top-ups.
When credits run out
The message box locks with "Usage limit reached — top up to continue". A message sent anyway is refused with "Out of AI credits — top up to keep going."
A turn that runs out midway stops with a note and keeps its saved work. It may cost slightly more than was left. The balance stops at $0 and the difference is never charged, though the receipt and your spend figures show the full cost.
Everything that isn't AI keeps working, and chat resumes once credits land.
The worst case is a pause, never a bill. AI spend can't go past what was prepaid.
Per-turn limit
A turn that passes $50 at standard, undiscounted rates stops with "This turn hit its per-turn cost limit and was stopped — send a new message to continue from the saved work." Nothing is lost.
Model prices
Every member can see each model's prices on Settings → Models, under Info. See prices in the turn-settings menu, above the message box, opens the same list.
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| Intelligence Index | Independent 0–100 capability score. Higher is stronger. |
| Input | New text read: messages, documents, tool results. |
| Output | What the model writes. |
| Cache read | Context already seen, at a much lower rate. |
| Cache write | Saving context for reuse, where charged. |
Click a heading to sort. A dash means no separate charge, or not on the index.
A model on promotion shows a "% off" badge, with struck-through prices beside the discounted ones. The discount applies to every turn on it, automatically.
Every workspace sees the same models at the same prices, with nothing to switch on. Every model's turns land on the same credit balance, each with its own receipt.
Price tiers
New agents start on Claude Opus 5.5, the strongest and most expensive model, unless you picked another model before. The picker remembers your last choice.
| Tier | Models today | Price per token |
|---|---|---|
| Top | Claude Opus 5.5 (the default) | Highest, for hard multi-step work |
| Middle | Claude Sonnet 5.5, GPT-6.1 Sol, GPT-5.6 Terra, Gemini 3.1 Pro (Preview) | About half the default |
| Light | Claude Haiku 4.5, GPT-6 Luna, Gemini 3.8 Flash, Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite, Grok 4.7, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, MiMo V2.6 Pro, Muse Spark 1.3 Contributor | Under a third of the default, often much less |
Muse Spark 1.3 Contributor is cheap because Meta's contributor terms let Meta use what you send it to improve its products. Read Models before you use it, and for how tokens and turn costs work.
Cancel or resume
Click Cancel subscription, then Cancel at period end. You keep access until the period ends, with no further charge. Pending invitations are withdrawn, no one new can join, and the badge shows Cancelling with the date. Resume renewal undoes it before then.
After that date, AI chat stops until an admin resubscribes. Agents, documents and credits are kept. Credits still expire 365 days after they were added.
Manage subscription opens Stripe's portal to change the card and billing details.
If a payment fails
When a renewal fails, the badge shows Payment failed for 3 days and a banner says when access ends. Everything still works. Click Update payment method to fix the card.
A first payment that fails gets no grace period. Cancel subscription is hidden until the card is fixed.
After 3 days it shows Payment overdue, and AI chat stops for everyone until payment goes through. Chats, documents and credits are kept.
Invoices
Every payment, including renewals, seat changes and top-ups, gets a numbered invoice under Invoices on the Billing page. Download opens the PDF, which takes a few seconds the first time.
Add-ons and resellers
An Add-ons card lists extras such as the Telegram channel, with monthly prices. Your Agent Hero contact changes them.
If a reseller bills you, the Subscription card reads "Billed by" with their name, price and currency. They handle changes. A workspace set up through a reseller starts with the reseller's included credit instead of the free $10.
