Audio

Record a memo or a meeting in the browser and get a transcript the agent can read.

An Audio document is a recording made in your browser. When you stop, it's transcribed, and the agent reads the transcript like any other document.

Record

Record audio
  1. On the Documents tab, click the ⊕ beside the Documents heading and choose Audio.
  2. Type a name and press Enter.
  3. Click the microphone button. Your browser may ask to use the microphone.
  4. Click the red stop button when you're done.

While it records, a pill at the bottom of the screen shows the time. Click it to go back to the recording, or use its stop button from anywhere.

One recording runs at a time. Another Audio document shows Recording in another document until you stop.

An Audio document while recording: the Recording status, the timer, the sound wave and the red stop button, with the Transcript heading below.

The transcript

After you stop, the document shows Transcribing… for a short while. Then a player appears with the transcript under it.

The transcript is read-only. Ask the agent to work from it:

"Turn @Team meeting into a note with decisions and action items."

Deep search finds words in the transcript too.

Stop before you leave

Click stop before you close the tab. A recording that is never stopped is not transcribed.
