Telegram

Pair an agent with Telegram and work with it from your phone.

Pair an agent with Telegram and message it from your phone. It's the same agent, with the same documents. Ask quick questions, send a photo of a document, share where you are, or approve its actions on the go.

A paid add-on

Telegram is a paid add-on for each workspace. If yours doesn't have it, pairing tells you to ask your Agent Hero contact.

Pair with Telegram

The quick way uses Agent Hero's shared bot, with no setup in Telegram.

  1. In the agent's chat, type "pair with Telegram". The agent replies with a Telegram card.
  2. Click Get pairing link on the card. If the agent has its own bot, the button says Get pairing code.
  3. Click Open in the Telegram app, or Open it in Telegram Web.
  4. In Telegram, press Start. The bot replies "✓ Linked".
  5. Message the bot as you'd type in chat. Replies come from the same agent and run as you.
Pair with Telegram

The link works once and expires in about ten minutes. Without the app, search for the bot in Telegram, press Start and send the /pair command the card shows.

You can also open the Channels tab in the agent's Computer panel, click Telegram, and click Get pairing code.

The Telegram card in chat, after Get pairing link, with Open in the Telegram app and the /pair fallback.

Use your own bot

For a branded bot, create one with Telegram's @BotFather and copy its token.

  1. Open the agent's Channels tab in the Computer panel.
  2. Click Telegram.
  3. Paste the token into Bot token.
  4. Click Connect.
  5. Click Get pairing code and open the link, as above.
Use your own Telegram bot

One bot serves one agent. Paste the token only in that dialog, never in chat.

Your own bot runs as you

Every chat paired with your own bot runs as the person who connected it, with their access. Pair only chats you trust.

The Telegram dialog opened from the Channels tab: the linked bot's t.me link, Paired chats with Unpair, and Get pairing code.

Share a location

Send the agent a location pin, a place, or your live location. It reads where you are, which suits check-ins and site visits. While a live location runs, the agent sees the latest position on your next message.

A pin can be dragged anywhere before it is sent, so don't treat one as proof of where someone was.

The agent can message you

On Telegram, the agent may answer with tap-to-reply buttons, or ask you to share your location or contact.

From the web chat, it can send a message to a Telegram chat paired with it. That always shows an approval card first, in every permission mode.

Schedule results on Telegram

A schedule can send each run's result to your own Telegram chat with the agent. Turn on Telegram in the schedule's form. Pair your own chat with the agent's bot first.

Approvals on Telegram

A turn you start from Telegram sends its approval cards there, as ✅ Approve and 🚫 Deny buttons. Questions arrive with their options as buttons. If nobody answers within about ten minutes, the turn stops.

Before you roll it out

Only a chat that has used a link or code is linked, so a stranger who finds the bot gets nothing.

On the shared bot, each member of a group chat pairs for themselves, and their messages run as them in their own workspace. On your own bot, a paired group runs every message as the person who connected the bot. The agent answers when you @mention it or reply to it. If the bot can't see mentions, it explains how to turn off Telegram's privacy mode.

Telegram turns cost the same as any turn, on the workspace's credits.

Who can manage it

The Telegram dialog lists Paired chats, each with Unpair. Disconnect removes your own bot.

Setting up a bot, creating links and unpairing need owner or Full access on the agent. Without it, the card in chat has no pairing button.

Admins can limit all of this with Only org admins can manage Telegram in Settings → Members. Then only org admins with owner or Full access can manage Telegram. Chats already paired keep working.
