Agent Library

Personal Connectors

Your own connector agents and accounts. Check, reconnect, disconnect, add another, or add one from a link.

Every connector you install from the library becomes your own connector agent. It sits under Connector Agents in your sidebar and holds one account, signed in as you. Connectors covers the first connection.

Check a connection

Open the connector agent and look at the top of its pane.

You seeIt means
ConnectionNot connected yet. Click it, then Connect.
Green Connected badgeWorking. Click it to see the account.
Connection with a warningAccess expired, was revoked or needs new permissions.

On a connector agent someone shared with you, the dialog shows its state but no buttons. Only the owner can fix it.

Reconnect

When the button shows a warning, open it and click Reconnect. Sign in again on the provider's page.

Disconnect

Disconnect an account
  1. Click the green Connected badge.
  2. Click Disconnect.
  3. Confirm. The agent stops using the account at once.

You can connect it again any time. Archiving the connector agent, or revoking access in the provider's security settings, also cuts it off.

A second account

Each connector agent holds one account. For a second one, such as another Xero organisation or a shared mailbox, open the card in the library and click Install again. You get a second connector agent. Connect the other account to it.

Holding several accounts on one connector agent is not available yet.

Add a connector from a link

In some workspaces, you can ask an agent to connect a service the library doesn't have. Give it the link.

"Connect this for me: https://mcp.tidewatercrm.com"
Add a connector from a link
  1. Paste the link into a normal agent chat and ask the agent to connect it.
  2. If the service takes an API key, the agent may ask for a link to its API docs. Give it, so nothing is guessed.
  3. A connect card appears in chat. Sign in, enter the key in the secure window, or just click Connect if it needs neither.
  4. The new card appears under Personal connectors in the library.
A personal connector's library card: Only you can see and install this connector, with Share to org, Rename and Remove.

Only you can see and install a personal connector. On its card you can Share to org, Rename or Remove it. Org Connectors explains what sharing does.

Never paste a key into chat

Keys go only into the secure connect window. Remove can't be undone, and it is refused while the connector is still connected.

Guests can't add connectors, and team chats and channels can't create them. Ask from your own chat.
