Understanding accounts & workspaces

Your account is you. A workspace is your company's space. How the two fit, and how to switch.

Agent Hero has two layers. Your account is you. A workspace is the company space you work in.

Your account

Your account is how you sign in. It holds your name, email address, password and picture, and any two-step verification.

It stays the same in every workspace you join. Change it in Settings → Profile and Security. See Profile.

Your workspace

A workspace is your company's shared space. Your agents, documents, credits and sharing all live there. Settings call it your organization.

Each workspace has its own agents, documents, Personal Assistant and billing. Agents and documents in one workspace don't show in another.

Every workspace belongs to a company or team. There are no personal workspaces. You work in one because someone invited you. See Sign in.

Switch workspaces

One account can belong to several workspaces, such as your firm's and a client's.

In the icon strip, click your account picture at the bottom, then the workspace's name. In the full menu, click the workspace icon in the bottom row. Pick another workspace. Agent Hero reopens on that workspace's Personal Assistant.

An amber dot on the workspace icon means an invitation waits. In your account menu, the workspace's name also says how many. Open the switcher and click Join.

The workspace switcher: the workspace you are in, another of yours, and a pending invitation with Join.

Open a link to an agent in another of your workspaces and Agent Hero offers Switch workspace.

Who is in a workspace

RoleWhat they do
AdminEverything a member does, plus people and billing
MemberCreate agents, chat, and share what they own
GuestWork only on agents shared with them

Admins invite people and set roles in Settings → Members. See Members & roles.

A guest is an outsider, such as a client or contractor. See Collaborators.

What membership gives you

Your Agents group shows your own agents and what is shared with you. Admins run the workspace but don't silently read members' agents. Sharing is always the owner's choice.

A setup that scales

  • Your own agents for drafts and experiments
  • One shared agent per workstream, such as Bookkeeping
  • Reference agents shared with everyone as Viewer

Working agents subscribe to reference agents for templates and rate cards.
